Mondhygiënist Amsterdam is located at Aalsmeerweg 18h in Amsterdam. Upon arrival, please take a seat in the waiting room. We will come and get you when it is time for your appointment.

Please bring the following to your first appointment:

• A valid form of identification

• Your health insurance card

• Any referral letter or X-rays provided by your dentist (optional)

After your registration, we will go through a medical questionnaire with you. This questionnaire helps us gather important information about any medical conditions, medications you may be taking, and your lifestyle habits. These factors can have a significant impact on your oral health, the development of oral health problems, and their treatment.

In some cases, additional precautions may be necessary during your examination or treatment. Naturally, all your personal and medical information will be treated confidentially and is protected by medical confidentiality.

During your first appointment, we will assess the condition of your gums and examine your oral hygiene. We will provide practical tips and advice on how to keep your gums healthy.

Based on the condition of your gums, we will discuss which treatment is most suitable for you. In most cases, your teeth will also be professionally cleaned during your first appointment. Sometimes, additional appointments are needed to complete the cleaning. We will, of course, discuss this with you beforehand.
